Commercial Yachtmaster

For those of you who may be considering a career at sea in the leisure boat industry, looking to get to a level where you can sail off around the world in your own boat or fancy a challenge then our Commercial Yachtmaster Intensive Training Course is for you. There is either the 15 week option for those with some experience and the 22 week option for complete beginners. Bespoke programs can be organized with prior arrangement.

Our commitment to our trainees is second to none and we pride ourselves on our 100% pass rate. This fast track course is not just geared towards getting you through the exam but also to give you the experience yachtmasters need to be safe and/or a worthwhile employee.
The programmes have been carefully created with a wide range of courses to give you a broad range of maritime training along with the cruising training. Your sailing trip towards the Canary Islands is on board a Challenger 72 foot racing yacht, when you will gain the nautical miles needed to take your Yachtmaster exam, plus a wealth of experience, from International Customs procedures to management skills.

Dinghy and Keelboat training gives you strong sailing skills and wind awareness.

Powerboating to Advanced Level, adds to your boat handling under power skills and employability.

The south west coast of Ireland provides the best of training grounds and challenging environment which we belive produces a top class yacht master. The stunning location, tidal races and varying weather set the backdrop for a well rounded course and better job prospects at the end.

Over 2500 nautical miles of Irish coastal cruising and an adventurous sailing trip towards the Canary Islands, via the coasts of France, Spain and Portugal on board a Challenger 72 foot racing yacht.

The course fee includes board and lodgings, offering you exceptional value compared to other courses.

You will be training with Ireland’s Premier Sail & powerboat Training Centre, approved by ISA, RYA and FETAC, assuring you of excellent tuition and care.

Qualifications are ratified by the UK's MCA and the Irish Department of Marine, giving you a really world renowned certificate and that extra one step ahead.

Once qualified, yachtmasters can avail of discount instructor courses for cruising, dinghy, keelboat or powerboat.
