Admirals House

West Cork Sailing Centre has teamed up with Admirals House on Bere Island. We now provide outdoor activity packages at West Cork Sailing Centre with comfortable accommodation for groups of adults, individuals and families at Admirals House on Bere Island.

The Admirals House is situated in beautiful secluded Bere Island in the southern most tip of West Cork. This is a newly restored period house with panoramic sea views and surrounded by peace and tranquillity. The hostel oozes comfort, with en-suite rooms, self-catering facilities, TV and laundry rooms, and open fires for the truly romantic.

The 10am ferry to the mainland is perfect timing to get you to the centre in Adrigole in time for your days sailing and the 5pm ferry is perfect for returning to the cosy house.

What is there to do on Bere Island? Once you have dragged yourself away from the comfort of the house, why not take in some of the beautiful walks and aw at the breath-taking scenery. Try your luck at some shore angling, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at the marina, dine out at the local restaurant (booking recommended), and at the close of day enjoy a good pint in one of the pubs. We have everything to make your stay a memorable one.

You can enjoy the luxury and comfort of the large self catering Admirals House - a perfect venue for adult groups or family get together. Cons Restaurant are happy to help with your catering needs if you don't fancy self catering.
