Boat House Cafe West Cork Sailing and Powerboat centre

The Boat House Cafe IS OPEN FOR THE SUMMER

10AM TO 5PM EVERY DAY FOR JULY AND AUGUST

Come along and enjoy the view - these pictures were taken mid April 2011 when a force 5 North Westerly was blowing across the harbour - chilly outside, cosy in.

Nothing fancy, a good cup of coffee, home baked cookies and home made soups will be on offer for anyone that would like to come down and enjoy the marvelous view.

We are well known for our delicious home made soups.  That welcome aroma of a delicious soup on the hob travels out into the boat yard and offers a welcome return after a mornings activities out on the water.

Watch this short video of the view of The Boat House Balcony one quiet spring eveing this year. I'll do another video this easter when there is some action on the water and people slurping hot chocolates.

Private BBQ Parties - familes, work colleagues or friends
An evening at the Boat House Bistro is wonderful.  You can relax on the balcony with a glass of wine while the BBQ sizzles away.  Delicious speciality salads, succulent meats and yummy breads are all served at a time to suit your group.  You can bring your own wine and beer and we have a self service clear door fridge for you store your 'booty' and dig in whenever you get thirsty.  The view from the Bistro and balcony is second to none, watching sea birds diving into the tranquil waters, listening to the water lapping up the vacant slipway and waiting for the sun to set behind Hungry Hill.  There is no place in all of Ireland that could beat this view and experience.

Prices start at 27euro a head for a feast of tasty nibbles, salads, breads and meats, followed by fresh fruits, chocolates, tea n coffee. BYOB (Bring Your Own Booze) with no corkage charge. Bookings must be at least 2 weeks in advance.
