Mile Building -

You will take a fantastic 4 week adventure sail in a 70foot schooner, Spirit of Oysterhaven, training and exploring around the beautiful Caribbean Islands.

The qualifications and the experience you gain on this course, gives you the opportunity to become a qualified and confident Commercial Yachtmaster.

Extras Included in the course fee  -

• Accommodation throughout your training period - even when at sea you still have your bunk at The Birches;
• Lunch and dinner during all shore based training courses;

• Books to keep - RYA Start Sailing, Tom Cuncliffe Complete Yachtmaster, RYA Day Skipper Practical Course Notes Book, International Regulations for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea, Cruising Log Book;

• All training and tuition;
• Use of yacht for final exams;

Not Included -

• Meals on non course days and night before day off;;
• Breakfast while on shore-based training;
• Yachtmaster Offshore exam fees for ISA / Dept of the Marine or RYA / MCA (approx €500 for both, this covers the fees and expenses of the external examiner which vary due to transport costs);
• Sailing Wellies;
• Membership RYA or ISA;
• Medical Examination (which is required for Commercial ticket).
