RYA/ISA Competent Crew

RYA/ISA Yachtmaster Offshore Practical
RYA/ISA Shore Based Navigation courses to Yachtmaster Offshore Theory (FETAC)

Dinghy / Keelboat Qualifications

RYA/ISA Dinghy & Keelboat Sailing to Level 1, 2 & 3 (FETAC)

Mile Building -

You will take a fantastic 4 week adventure sail in a 70foot schooner, Spirit of Oysterhaven, training and exploring around the beautiful Caribbean Islands.

The qualifications and the experience you gain on this course, gives you the opportunity to become a qualified and confident Commercial Yachtmaster.

Extras Included in the course fee -

Accommodation throughout your training period - even when at sea you still have your bunk at The Birches;
Lunch and dinner during all shore based training courses;
Breakfast, lunch and dinner every day while at sea;
Books to keep - RYA Start Sailing, Tom Cuncliffe Complete Yachtmaster, RYA Day Skipper Practical Course Notes Book, International Regulations for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea, Cruising Log Book;

Use of a wide range of reference books;
All training and tuition;
Use of yacht for final exams;
RYA and/or ISA certificates;

Yachtmaster Offshore exam fees for ISA / Dept of the Marine or RYA / MCA (approx €500 for both, this covers the fees and expenses of the external examiner which vary due to transport costs);
Sailing Wellies;
Membership RYA or ISA;
Medical Examination (which is required for Commercial ticket).
