Yachtmaster Theory                 The next course is  October 2008

Join us on the shore line for an intensive 7 day Yachtmaster Theory Training Course.  Our heated class rooms have patio doors opening out onto the beach and slipway, the perfect location for inspirational training.  Your instructor is Niall Mac Allister, an RYA and ISA Yachtmaster instructor and ISA Dinghy and Powerboat Trainer, so you are assured of excellent tuition and attention to detail.

Course content includes:

• Navigation - Charts, GPS, Tides etc.
• IRPCS - International Rules for Prevention of Collisions at Sea
• Meteorology - the weather & it's effects on sailing

This 7 day course is designed to give you an opportunity to focus on your studies and includes a chance to put some of the skills into action on board our yacht and keelboats, as well as a couple of free sessions to give you time to check over your notes. 

The combination of great location, excellent training technique, hands on practice and a little 'time out', will help you to focus and learn your Yachtmaster Theory more effectively.
