Cruising Sailing Holiday for families that want to enjoy sailing together and the adventure of exploring Irelands most beautiful coastline, with the safety and security of a professional ISA / RYA instructor.

Live Aboard your own 37ft Cruising Yacht

Enjoy living on board a 37ft Jeanneau Cruising Keelboat and explore the spectacular South West Coast of Ireland while learning to sail or improve your sailing skills.  The whole family or perhaps just 1 or 2 of you can benefit from professional cruising training to their own level - Competent Crew, Coastal Skipper or Yachtmaster or your can all sit back and enjoy the cruise learning the ropes as you sail.

If you have small children then the cruising and adventure is set at a pace to suit them, while the theory and boat handling training is learnt along the way by the parents and older children. Short sails and lots of stops gives all the family a chance to enjoy the cruising and coastline. Anchor up in coves for a picnic lunch and quick dip or paddle ashore to explore the coast. Tie up in the evenings at locations to suit your needs, from quiet anchorages to convienient piers or Lawrence Cove Marina.

The qualified skipper is also an instructor, so you can benefit from professional training as well as the peace of mind of a skipper that knows the boat, coastline and is experience at having novice crew.

Self cater or we can cater for you.

Children must wear life jackets at all times while on deck and harness lines when walking up to the bow to watch the dolpins, sea birds and wake. Many children love to roll around down below in the cosy cabins or sit on the stern and watch the wake fade away.

Explore deserted islands, picnic in sheltered harbours, snorkel coves, watch the dolphins on the bow, count the puffins - there is so much more to see at sea.

A cruising holiday on Jessy is a wonderful adventure that your family will never forget and gives you an opportunity to get a taste of sailing as a family before taking the plunge and investing in a family boat.

Jessy of Adrigole is available for any number of days from 1 day upwards - you need 5 days to take an ISA or RYA course such as Competent Crew, Day Skipper or Coastal Skipper.

Bring 8 people for some fun cruising or a maximum of 5 for formal training.

There are times of relaxing and enjoying the view and times with plenty of ropes to pull for all the family.

There is plenty of time to stop and enjoy the clear waters and bays.
Children soon get used to their life jacket and love to be harnessed on to explore the deck.
