Nemos - personal care and fun on and off the water

Ages 4 to 5.

A brilliant 5 days of sailing & fun for young children whose parents are sailing.

A wonderful week of mainly shorebased fun.  Sailing, kayaking, floating, towing, treasure hunts, crab hunting,  board balancing, fishing, colouring and that all important afternoon storytime or video at about 3.30 to give them a chance to wind down! 

We work on a ratio of 1 assistant instructor to 4 Nimos and there is a second adult present to assist at any time required.  With the small ratios, it is possible to give each students help and personal care throughout the course.  Each child is dressed in a wetsuit and life jacket, while doing any waterside or on the water activities.   We have 2 large recreation rooms at the centre and have created a special Nimo Chalet for indoor activities. All activities are flexible and run at a pace to suit the group - nice and slow.

We adhere to the guidlines of the Code of Practise for Children.  We ran trial sessions with groups of year olds, fine tune the activities to their special needs and they all wanted to come back for more.  "My own children started attending Nemo at 3 & 4 years old, they had a ball and keep asking to go again" Gail

So while Mum & Dad have some fun sailing with other adults and the teenagers are flying around the harbour, the little Nimos are having fun and are safe.

Babies - No we don't teach babies how to sail!  But, we link up with Adrigole Creche & Montessori Play School, where your babies and teeny tots will get all the love and care they need.  Call Pauline + 353 (0) 27 60144.
