Sailing for Everyone On a Beautiful Coastline
• Sail past the seals relaxing on a rock enjoying the heat of the sun.
• Venture out to the Lighthouse in Bantry Bay with your fleet of fellow trainee sailors and watch the amazing birdlife, then picnic on a sandy beach on Bere Island.
• Cruise the spectacular coastline on a luxury yacht, anchor up in unspoilt harbours for a snorkel by day and enjoy the warm welcome of a coastal pub at night.
• Watch your small children sail a little dinghy, while the teens are hanging out on the trapeze of their dinghy and see the sense of achievement and freedom they feel, while you are enjoying some gentle sail training with other mums and dads.
West Cork Sailing & Powerboating Centre in Adrigole is the perfect location for family sailing adventure holiday. Here are a couple of family holiday options -

Dinghy and Keelboat Sailing Holiday for all the Family
The safe crystal clear waters of Adrigole Harbour are home to colonies of Grey and Common Seals. We have groups of sailors from age 4, with no upper age limit. The young enjoy a gentle introduction to the water, while teenagers are given a chance to feel the thrill of sailing and learn to sail fast and with skill. Adults can choose active sailing in dinghies or a more relaxed cruising sailing on keelboats. All sailing is ISA or RYA approved and certified. A family of 4 can take enjoy a week of sailing for €1250.

Coastal Cruising & Sail Training for Groups of Adults or Families
Charter a luxury yacht with a qualified instructor as skipper and explore the South West Coastline of Ireland while learning some ropes. The numerous harbours, bays and unspoilt beaches provide the novice or experienced sailor with a wonderful cruising experience. Jessy of Adrigole is an ISA and RYA approved sail training boat, as well as passenger carrying approved vessel by the Dept. of Marine.
2 day charter in July or August is €1380, 5 day is €2650.

Adult Only Sailing
Get a group together and have a blast for a day, weekend or whole week of sailing and exploring the fantastic Beara Peninsula. Friendly pubs with a great pint and good food are everwhere - you can enjoy a different water hole every night of the week or find a base you like best and be treated like a local for the week. Accommodation options are to book out the whole hostel to yourselves to taking a private room, stay in a local hotel or rent out a few holiday homes. Your sailing can be in the exciting and physical dinghies or a more relaxing option on board the comfortable keelboats. You may even like to take a live aboard option on board the Sun Odyssey 37 yacht with a skipper that is an instructor and you can learn the ropes while exploring the coastline. Loads of options, loads of fun.

Stags, hens and parties organised with a great choice of activies from kayaking treasure hunt to a great days sailing, followed by a delicious bbq on the balcony with chilled BYOB and a shuttle service back to your accommodation or the pub to celebrate the night away.

West Cork Sailing and Powerboating Centre has a purpose built training centre literally on the waters edge, with a dining area and lecture rooms that look out over the spectacular Adrigole Harbour and Hungry Hill Mountains. The fleet of over 50 boats and team of professionally qualified instructors offers every customer a course to suit them.
