About West Cork
Sailing Centre

West Cork Sailing and Powerboating Centre was established as an Irish Sailing Association and Royal Yachting Association training centre in 1997. Soon afterwards Kayaking with the Seals was set up to give locals and passing tourists a chance to paddle in freedom within Adrigole Harbour and home to a colony of seals. Then we wanted to share our love of the incredible Irish Coastline and along came Live Aboard Sailing Training and Adventures with Passenger Licensed Sailing Vessel Jessy of Adrigole.

The Meet Local Wildlife

West Cork Sailing gives you the opportunity to enjoy our coastal wildlife from the sea. Common Seals, Grey Seals, Common Dolphins, Porpoises, Minke Whales, sea birds galore are just a few of the most common wildlife species you will see on our adventures and training courses. As well as the rarer sightings of Otters, Basking Sharks, Humpback Whales and Puffins.
